As Construct Scenery scaled, spreadsheets became a bottleneck. We built a custom web-based database with role-based access so directors, site managers, and admin staff each see exactly what they need. The platform tracks live project status, material procurement, subcontractor assignments, and client communications from a single dashboard.

The challenge
The existing workflow relied on fragmented WhatsApp threads and spreadsheets. Data was lost in handoffs and no one had a single source of truth for project status.
What we built
We built a PostgreSQL-backed admin platform with a Next.js front-end, real-time status updates, file attachment support, and export to PDF. Role-based access control ensures sensitive financials are only visible to directors.
The outcome
Eliminated double-entry across five previously separate spreadsheets. The management team saved an estimated 6 hours per week on reporting. Project handoff errors dropped significantly in the first quarter of use.
